December 3, 1925 Alexander McGlachlin, 92, one of Oconto's 12 remaining Civil War veterans, died at his home at 214 Gale Street Sunday. Thomas L. Pillsbury, a Civil War Veteran, Abrams, died
Saturday.

May 21, 1925 Edward A Harmon, one of Oconto's most popular young men, was instantly killed Wednesday afternoon when he accidentally touched one of the high powered electric wires in the engine room of Holt Hardwood Company. Lloyd "Buck" Young, only son of Mr and Mrs Joseph Young,
was killed instantly in a car accident early Tuesday morning.

June 11, 1925 Fred Schedler, one of Oconto's most prominent retired
businessmen, died early Tuesday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. D. H.
DeWitt.

June 25, 1925 Michael Brennen, Jr was drowned in th Oconto River
near Couillardille Thursday night. He is survived by his mother and nine
sisters and brothers. His father died six weeks ago.

July 23, 1925 A four-year-old boy, Donald, son of Mr. ad Mrs. Alfred
Zimmerman, First st., Oconto, drowned in the Oconto river Wednesday afternoon.
The little boy was visiting his grandparents, Mr and Mrs Charles Follett,
who live on the south bank of the river near the ice house.

died Sunday morning.

Monday. He had resided in Oconto County for 50 years.

died at his home Tuesday.

in the sudden death of Cleveland R. Keith.

October 22, 1925 J.O. ingren, former county treasurer and well-known
over the county for the past 17 years as Field Superintendent for the Menominee
River Sugar Co., died Tuesday as the result of heart failure and high blood
pressure.

November 26, 1925 James Johnston, retired liveryman of Oconto, died at
his home on Main street Monday.
