Alexander McGlachlin, 92, one of Oconto's 12 remaining Civil War veterans, died at his home at 214 Gale Street Sunday.

Thomas L. Pillsbury, a Civil War Veteran, Abrams, died Saturday.

Edward A Harmon, one of Oconto's most popular young men, was instantly killed Wednesday afternoon when he accidentally touched one of the high powered electric wires in the engine room of Holt Hardwood Company.

Lloyd "Buck" Young, only son of Mr and Mrs Joseph Young, was killed instantly in a car accident early Tuesday morning.

Fred Schedler, one of Oconto's most prominent retired businessmen, died early Tuesday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. D. H. DeWitt.

Michael Brennen, Jr was drowned in th Oconto River near Couillardille Thursday night. He is survived by his mother and nine sisters and brothers. His father died six weeks ago.

A four-year-old boy, Donald, son of Mr. ad Mrs. Alfred Zimmerman, First st., Oconto, drowned in the Oconto river Wednesday afternoon. The little boy was visiting his grandparents, Mr and Mrs Charles Follett, who live on the south bank of the river near the ice house.
