Meincke
First Generation
1. Wilhelm "William"1 Meincke was born in Pommen, Germany
1842.
Wilhelm died 1924 in Oconto County, Wisconsin, at 82
years of
age.
He married Iva Dorthea Becker in Germany, 1868. Iva was
born 1852.
Iva died 1937 at 85 years of age.
Wilhelm "William" Meincke and Iva Dorthea Becker had the
following
children:
2 i. Frank2 Meincke. He married Kate Von Boren
in
Oconto County, WI, 12/29/1892.
3 ii. Anna Meincke was born New Foundland M.A. ?. She
married Herman Behling Pensaukee, Wisconsin,
05/04/1887. Herman was born Pommern,
Deutschland. Herman is the son of August Behling
and Wilhelmina "Minnie" Schulz.
4 iii. Herman Wilhelm Heinrich Meincke was born Oconto,
Wisconsin 1874. Herman died 1939 at 65 years of
age. He married twice. He married Eva Lela
Couillard Oconto, Wisconsin, 12/31/1892. Eva was
born in Oconto County, WI 11/2/1878. Eva was the
daughter of Jacob Jackson Couillard and Clara
Eliza Duffano. She married William Edward Brooks
in Coleman, Wisconsin, 1/9/1898. Eva died
9/27/1936 in Laona, Wisconsin, at 57 years of
age. He married Vera Colbourn Pensaukee,
Wisconsin, 02/06/1901. Vera is the daughter of
Marshall Colburn and Ida (?) Colburn.
5 iv. Charles Meincke was born 08/02/1875. Charles
died 09/13/1955 in Oconto, WI., at 80 years of
age. He married Martha (?) Meincke.
6 v. Carl Gustave Martin Meincke was born 02 Aug.
1875.
7 vi. Arthur Carl Christian Johann Meinke was born
Pensaukee, Wisconsin 2/3/1878. Arthur died Oct.
1966 Oconto, Wisconsin, at 88 years of age. He
married Jessie Lenora Couillard Oconto,
Wisconsin, July 21, 1904. Jessie was born
Oconto, Wisconsin January 14, 1884. Jessie was
the daughter of Samuel James Couillard and
Mathilda Matravers. Jessie died 6/6/1965 Oconto,
Wisconsin, at 81 years of age.
8 vii. Edward Meincke was born in Pensaukee, Oconto Cty,
Wisconsin, USA 09/20/1882. Edward died
06/26/1958 in Oconto, WI., at 75 years of age.
He married an unknown person.
9 viii. Harry Meincke.
10 ix. Emma Henrietta Adelina Meincke was born in Oconto
County, WI 03/23/1885. Emma died 08/19/1889 in
Oconto County, WI, at 4 years of age.
11 x. Lydie Meincke was born 01/19/1888. She married
Frank Belleau.
12 xi. Hattie Meincke was born in Wisconsin 1890.
Hattie died 1972 at 82 years of age. She married
Elmer Kirchner 10/2/1914?. Elmer was born
Pensaukee, Wisconsin 2/20/1892. Elmer was the
son of Albert Kirchner and Theresa Maria
Williams. Elmer died 2/18/1974 at 81 years of
age.
13 xii. Hertha Minna Ida Meincke was born in Oconto Co.,
Wisconsin 26 August 1890.
14 xiii. Edith Meincke was born in Wisconsin 1893. Edith
died 1 July 1970 Oconto Falls, WI., at 77 years
of age. She married Paul Krueger in Oconto, WI.,
Nov. 18, 1914. Paul was born in Little Suamico,
WI. Feb. 10, 1882. His body was interred Jan.
22, 1935 in Oconto, WI..
15 xiv. Ida Dorothea Meinke was born in Oconto, WI. circa
1893.
