Generation No. 1

1.  THOMAS1 KOBES was born July 1827 in Drazenow, Bohemia, and died April 15, 1906 in Spruce, WI and is buried in the Pine Hill Cemetery.
He married CAROLINA Kralovec in Bohemia on 17 Oct 1859.  She was born 9 Oct 1840 in Bohemia, and died 1911 Town of Spruce, Oconto County, Wis.

Arrived in Oct 19,1880 in New York.  They had 8 children, 5 living accordingto the 1900 census.  Death Info from Wis Vital

    i.    GEORGE2 KOBES, b. May 1863; m. UNK, September 04, 1905, Oconto, Wisconsin.

Arrived in 1879.  Sent for Mother, father, brothers and sisters who came in 1880.

2.  JAMES2 KOBES (THOMAS1) was born June 1865 in Bohemia.  He married MARY VALESKA
December 05, 1900 in Marinette, WI.  She was born 1877 in Bohemia, and died 1935 in Spruce,
WI. He became a naturalized citizen on June 17, 1916.

Notes for JAMES KOBES:
James Kobes was a photographer.  He lived and traveled in British Colombia, Canada.  He moved
the Wisconsin in the late 1800's where he met and married his wife.  A collection of his
photographs of BC are located in the archives there in Peace River.

September 25, 1925; b. July 16, 1899, Town of Spruce, Oconto Co., Wis.2; d. January 18, 1987,
Town of Spruce, Oconto Co., Wis.2.

Notes for SERVIUS ALBERT FORAL:
Both Albert and Barbara operated the Foral Resort located at White and Pecor Lakes.  They are
buried in the Pine Hill Cemetery, Spruce, WI.
