Vernon Cole b. 1825 in Windham Co., Vermont married Sarah Kellogg of Springville, New York in June, 1851. In Dec, 1885 they settled on a quarter section of land in Maple Valley (Oconto County, WI).

Their children were:
Jabez Daniel b. 1852;
Clarence de Poister b. 1853;
Mary b. 1857 married John Hoffman living in Gillett;
Perviz Fielder b. 1859;
Violetta Imogene b. 1861 married James Hinds;
Carrie Cecelia b. 1864 married John Frye.

Looking to contact descendants of these folks as Vernon's brother, Byron, born 1831 is buried immediately adjacent to my g-g-g-grandfather, Ezra Cole in a cemetery in Marion, Waushara County, Wisconsin. I am certain Byron and Ezra are related, probably through Byron's grandfather, Laban Cole and Ezra's father, Philip Cole. .
