The reporting of births was haphazard at best in the early years. Not all issues of past newspapers have been saved to microfilm, however, every effort is being made to research what is available for this collection. A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. John Merline, Jr., Saturday.

A little son was born to Mr. and Mrs. M. Breakstone last Thursday evening at the Oconto County hospital.  Miss Arens, a special nurse, who has been caring for Mrs. Breakstone, will return to Green Bay tomorrow.

A little daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Ward Papenfus this morning.
