BIRTH.  WEDNESDAY morning, a little girl of eleven pounds weight made
her appearance at the home of Charles Schultz, and begged so hard to
stay that he finally adopted her.  He was looking for a boy, with big
anticipations.

A. M. MARTINEAU came down to the store Monday morning with his face all
covered with smiles.  As he entered the store, his bearing was so
unusual that the boys mistrusted that something had happened.  When
interrogated as to the cause of his happiness, he only said, “It’s a boy
and the cutest little fellow in the world.”

**MRS. ED. BRECKENRIDGE presented her husband with a daughter Saturday.
Mother and child doing well.  Congratulations being in order we extend
those of all connected with the REPORTER.

A LITTLE stranger of the female persuasion made her appearance in Mr.
I.N. Hellers family early Monday morning, and was adopted at once by Mr.
& Mrs. H.  Mother and child are doing nicely and congratulations are in
order.

** A LITTLE DAUGHTER at the residence of M. Sutton, is the latest addition to the population of Oconto.

** AN HEIR has come to bless Morris Murphy, and if he is not tickled when he hears of it, we shall miss our guess.

July 15, 1882

** AN HEIR and son has come to bless the family of Will. E. Barlow.  He made his advent Tuesday morning, and there is joy in the household.  The mother is doing nicely and the father happy, and the many friends of the happy couple were pleased.

** MRS. LACY DUNTON presented her husband with a 12 pound boy Monday evening.  It is the first son, and Lacy cannot be blamed for stopping occasionally and giving expression to his feeling by a hearty laugh.

** THERE is a new boy at the residence of N. Chase.  He weighs 12 pounds.

** MAT. Leonard is the proudest man in town.  His new boy weighed 14 pounds.  The population of Brookside is increasing.
