Here Is Dead

PESHTIGO - Miss Carrie Heidenworth, 87, of 270 S Emery Ave. who lived her entire life in this area, died in the Eklund Convalesent Home Wednesday at 12:15 p m. She had been a patient there five years.

 The deceased was born in the Town of Grover June 19, 1869 the daugher of David Heidenworth and was a seamstress. She was a survivor of the great Peshtigo fire, being three years old when it occured.

 A Christina Science service will be read in the Berth-Rosenthal funeral home at 2pm Friday, where friends may call from 7 pm until the hour of service. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery here.

Carrie Heidenworth

Miss Carrie Heidenworth, 87, life long resident of Peshtigo and Grover, died Wednesday Aug 29, at the Eklund Convalescent home where she had been a patient for the past five years. She is a survivor of the Peshtigo Fire.

 She was born n the Town of Grover on June 19, 1869, the daughter of the late Mr and Mrs David Heidenworth. She had resided here all her life and was a dressmaker. Her only survivors are nieces and nephews.

 Funeral services will be conducted at the Berth and Rosenthal Funeral home on Friday afternoon at 2pm. Christian Science burial will be done by Mrs Betty Smith. Interment wil be in Forest Home cemetery.

 Friends may call at the funeral home from Thursday at 7pm until the time of service.

Rites Held Friday for 
Carrie Heidenworth

Funeral servives were conducted Friday at 2pm at the Berth and Rosenthal Funeral home for Mrs (Miss) Carrie Heidenworth, Peshtigo Fire survivor, who died Wednesday. Mrs Betty Smith read the Christian Science service. Burial was in Riverside cemetery.

 Paulbearers were Jack Joachim, Emil Fritz, Nels Schounard, John Sutherland, Oscar Bartels, and August Smith.
