FOUND: Catharina Philippi born 1866, daughter of Matthias Philippi and first wife Gertrude Lambertz 
c:1883 She remained in Germany.
 G -This young woman is an absolute mystery and may have been photographed in Germany around 1880.

 J -All that was written on the back of this old and faded photo was the word "Pa". He stands tall and straight in front of his tidy Oconto County homestead, half log and half clapboard.

FOUND: Brother of Barbara Weber (Mrs. Joseph Philippi) taken at the family cheese factory in Marytown, WI
 L - The proud owner of a local cheese factory stands next to the tank where milk is stirred and turned to curds and wey, then pressed "dry" of liquid wey and packed into the round metal molds on the left. It will age to become Colby, or Chedder, or Muenster or Swiss, or another wonderful offering.
