A  -This photo  appears to be a copy of an early tin-type. The family includes the surnames Bertrand, McElrone, Cardare (Cudare, Cartier) --- the contributor believes these people might be Bertrands, but not certain.

B -I know they are the Manskes.  I believe that my Great Grandmother Bertha Manske is the woman in the back row wearing the glasses, and the others are her brothers and sisters. Her brothers are Alfred (1995 Germany - 1960 Gillett, WI), Albert-(Born in Germany), Walter, and Unknown. Sisters names are unknown, but one was born in Germany.

C -. While going through the effects of my mother Fern Kingston of Mountain WI who passed away in October, I found this photo. The following is written on the back.:
(Mt. Grade School. Teacher Florence Baldwin. Mother 2nd in back from right in dark dotted dress.  Mary Thompson next to her.)  As I knew Mary Thompson as a child I am pretty sure she is standing to Grandma's right.  No date is given but as Grandmother Alice Kingston (McAllen) was born in 1886,  a fair guess would be about 1896..  You might like to post it and see if others can add anything.

D - This is a picture from my grandma's early school days.  All I know about it is that the little boy in the bottom row 4th from the left is Harry Johnson--my grandma's younger brother.  Maybe some searchers would be able to fill in some info on this picture ?

E - This is a picture I don't know much about.  I know the one man is my Greatgrandfather Ole Johnson.  I am assuming that it is his relation since some of them look a lot a like.  Maybe someone will recognize the other men ?

F - Here is an interesting photo I found.   I assume it was taken
in the mountain area. Maybe someone can shed some light on it.  As with all my pictures if anyone wants higher resolution copies I will be happy to provide them.

Special Note: This is a rare photo of a logging "Snow Snake"! Camp unknown. You can see the snow storm coming in behind them. To read more about the Snow Snake click HERE  - Rita

G A lady from Oconto gave me this photo, thinking that the boys (3) of them in this picture are the Mc Govern boys. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

H The boys names were John (Jack), Patrick, James, Robert, Frances, and Mary was their sister.  They lived on Adams street.  My grandparents were John and May Mc Govern, she was well known as a fortune  teller back in the 40's. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
