Four Schmidt Brothers
Of Gillett See Service
In U. S. Armed Forces

GILLETT, Wis - Three sons of Mr. and Mrs Robert Schmidt, Gillett, are in the armed forces and a fouth was recently discharged. Pfc. Reuben spent a furlough with his parents recently after having served in Alaska and the Aleutians for a year. Another brother, Pvt. Al, came home from Fort Sam Houston at the same time. It was their first meeting in two years.
    Pvt. Eugene Schmidt is stationed at Camp Wolters, Texas. Still another brother, Pvt. Melvin who has been in service nearly a year, has returned home with an honorable discharge because of ill health.
