March 1944

Infantry units of the United States Army training in Ulster will be as familiar with German Army weapons and their uses as they are with their own when the invasion of Europe begins. To insure this fact, courses of instruction now are in progress which are designated not only to teach the men how to turn abandoned weapons on their former owners but to impress as well the marked superiority of American arms and equipment.

Among the men who have recently completed a course in familiarization with these weapons is S/Sgt. Leslie C. McAllan, 25, of Mountain.
