There are many ways to volunteer to make
this site a great resource for Orleans County researchers, If
interested, contact the coordinator listed below.

If you would like to donate photos &
information about your Orleans county ancestor, please contact
us before sending it.

Do you have Orleans county books,
newspapers or other materials? Consider being a Look-Up
volunteer. You would look in the materials you have to see if
there is information for another researchers ancestor.

If you live in the county and have a
digital camera, consider taking photos of landmarks around the
county, and of gravestones to be added to the site.

If you live in the county, consider
surveying a cemetery and transcribe headstones. Sometimes the
Sexton or caretaker of a cemetery can provide a map of the
cemetery, or even a printout of interments.

Like to type? Consider offering to
transcribe (type verbatim) materials for the site. The
coordinator will provide the material and instructions.
