To all Christian People to whom these Presents shall come Greeting Know ye that for good and Certain causes I Peter TOSTEE of Frederick County in the Colony of Virginia do Appoint Constitute and Ordain John RAMSEY of Cape Capon in the Said County and Colony true and lawful Attorney to ask demand and Receive all the Debts due to Me the Said Peter TOSTEE Administrator OF Lewis DEMOSS on the accompt (?) of the said Deceased Lewis DEMOSS Estate and to Employ one or more Attorneys to act for Him in all case or cases as the Law Shall in Such maters all on and to act as tho I myself Present and I do Hereby acknowledge this to be my full an denture Power Given to my well beloved Friend as above named In Witness whereof I have Herein Set my Hand and Seal the Seventh day of May in the Year of our Lord one Thousand Seven Hundred and fifty Four.
