Trinity County Museum

Museum open Mon., Tues., Weds., Thurs. 9-4

The Kate Bell building, located on the property, now holds the Hensley Genealogical and Historical Research Center.  This is a collection of Trinity County family histories, obituaries, marriage records, birth and death records, historical photographs, historical research materials and reference books that is available for the history or genealogy enthusiast.  We also offer help in locating the records you need in Trinity County and guidelines for genealogy or historical research in Trinity County.

The Museum's rock building holds the historical collection of artifacts and memorabilia related to Trinity County's history.

Heritage tourism is on the rise, showing fantastic economic benefits for communities that have become involved with historical preservation and attractions.  Trinity County is no exception.  We at the TCHC are gearing up to make Trinity County part of the growing historical enthusiasm.  We have had over 49,000 people visit the Trinity County website for family information.  Many have come to Trinity County to search our records and visit the communities where their ancestors roamed long before.  Genealogy has become one of the most popular hobbies in America and the world!

We need your support!
