"Old Three Circle"

Sacred Bull of India on Texas Cattle Ranch
December 12, 1919

Photo shows “Three Circle,” said to be the only living sacred bull in this country that
was once in a temple in India. Mr. Borden, of the Ward Cattle Company of Palacios,
Texas, imported this sacred bull at a cost reported to be $75,000 and the dethroning
of a priest is said to have followed the sale of the bull, which is now the property of
Mr. Fred G. Lock and is on the Crescent V Ranch, Palacios, Texas. It is stated that
Mr. Lock has refused a big price for the bull offered by a big showman.
