L. C. Howard, superintendent of the Vanderbilt schools, who was an Edna visitor Thursday, left with the Herald the following interesting article about the school, which gives the opening date, the members of the faculty, their assignments, and notice of the bus routes and schedule:

The Industrial schools started today (Thursday), meeting for one-half day, and the full-day schedule will begin Friday, August 30. The cafeteria will be open Friday. Supt. C. d. Holmes was not ready to release any enrollment figures this week, but stated he did not expect much, if any, increase in the rolls this first term. Mr. Holmes announced the following principals and faculty members for the schools in the Industrial district:
