Joseph married Carolina Adams; William Marion married Sarah E. McWhorter; Nancy married John Marion McWhorter; Juda Ann married John Bryant; Martha Ann married James Spann; Flora Ann married Owen Shannon Dennman; Aaron Ashley married Sarah Vianva Small and then Mary Virginia Bass; James Albert died as a small child; Nancy Elizabeth married Jerry R. Moon; Joseph Robert married Ella Jane Moon; Mary married Will Taylor; Marques Alexander married A. L. Unknown. Most of the children moved on to Madison County and are buried there.

James and Mary Elizabeth are both buried at Old Bethel Cemetery in Grimes County, Texas
