To reach the cemetery go .8 mile from the intersection of 149 and 90 in Anderson on 149 to a gate on the left. This cemetery is surrounded by the property of Gordon Edge. Contact Mr. Charlie Busa of Anderson for access through the property. Once through the gate you would follow a pasture road that winds through the property for some two or three miles. The cemetery is on a small hill. It is enclosed by a chain link fence.

Copied November 18, 1986 and revisited December 8, 1992 by John R. Maxwell of Keith.

----------------
* Birth date is corrected. Maxwell shows birth date as April 17, 1864. Census of 1850 shows Grace's age as 1 yr.; census of 1860 shows her age as 11 yrs.
** Maxwell fails to note that the remains of Martha (Scaife) Patrick, and presumably those of her infant daughter, were reinterred in the Texas State Cemetery in 1936 along with the remains of George M. Patrick.
