 John Damon King 1861 - 1890 "Union Printer" The Sunday Gazetteer Sunday, May 11, 1890 pg. 4 John D. King, a typographical artist, well known in Denison where he formerly resided, died in Fort Worth on Tuesday at the residence of his mother, Mrs. S.K. Daniels, the cause of his death being consumption. The remains were shipped to Sherman Wednesday and interred in the family burial ground.
