Durant, I.T. Oct. 7  - Mrs. Balfour of Sherman, Tex., sister of Robert Walker of this city, was returning from Kansas City to-day, where she had been for some time under medical treatment, on passenger train No. 1 and died suddenly just before the train reached here, about 12 o'clock.  Mr. Walker received a telegram about one hour before the train arrived from her that she would be here, and when he came to the train he found his sister a corpse and accompanied her remains to Sherman.

Sherman, Texas, Oct. 8 - The burial of Mrs. Emma Balfour, whose sad death on the train near Durant, I.T., was chronicled in The News this morning took place this afternoon at West Hill Cemetery.
