 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas
Services were held Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Stephen's Episcopal
Church for Mrs. George S. Thompson, 76, longtime Sherman resident who died
Thursday in a Sherman hospital. Rev. James W. Garrard officiated
and embodiment was in the Sherman Mausoleum under the direction of
Dannel and Son Funeral Home.
She was born in Whitewright, daughter of the late Jim and Emma Dyer, and married George S. Thompson. She attended SMU where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta. She was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church. She is survived by three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were William Bryant, Dr. Jack McGee and R.J. Bell, all of Sherman, Marshall Jones of Dallas and W.E. Wilcox of Denison.
