FORMER SHERMAN BUSINESS MAN BURIED
Sherman, Nov. 15 - The body of Bert Gray, a former  prominent Sherman business man, will be buried in West Hill cemetery Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock.
Mr. Gray, who was for a number of years president of Lyon-Gray Lumber Company of Texas, which had its central office in Sherman until 1920, died in Dallas Sunday afternoon, following a serious illness of several weeks.
Mr. Gray was one of the most prominent lumbermen of the state, having been engaged in the business since he was 20 years of age. He was born in Canada, moved to Iowa with his father when 3 years old, and at the age of 18 came to Sherman, where he became associated with the late Captain O.T. Lyon in the lumber business.   After serving with serveral lumber firms in all sections of the state, he came back to Sherman and formed the Lyon-Gray Lumber Company with Captian Lyon.
