Renomia Margaret Monroe, 56-year-old resident of Sherman, passed away on Friday, November 20, 2009 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center. 

Services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 28 at Grand Avenue Church of Christ, 619 N. Grand Ave. with Christopher Maxwell officiating and C.E. Shaw as eulogist. Burial followed at West Hill Cemetery. 
Mrs. Renomia Monroe was born May 24, 1953 in Sherman to the parents Hamp and Mildred Pleasant Wannamaker. She attended and graduated from the Sherman Public School System. 
Renomia became a member of the Grand Avenue Church of Christ in 1963. She grew up in the Church of Christ as a child and has remained faithful throughout her lifetime. Her grandparents, O.R. and Mildred Pleasant, instilled in her the love of God and the importance of the church at an early age. She worked faithfully with the different church programs and as a teacher for the preschool children. She also worked with her husband to enhance him in his ministry as a deacon in the church. 
On February 14, 1975, she married Richard Monroe in Sherman and they served as the proud parents of Alexander Seales. He blessed them to be loving grandparents to three beautiful grandchildren. 
She was employed with Cigna Healthcare Insurance Company for 24 years. She was a dedicated worker until her health failed. 
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, O.R. and Mildred Pleasant; and her parents, Hamp and Mildred Wannamaker. 
Renomia will be fondly remembered by her devoted husband, Richard Monroe; son, Alexander Seales; daughter-in-law, Shennetta Seales; grandchildren, JaQuillin, JaDarion and JaNayja Seales, all of Sherman; mother-in-law, L.C. Seales of Philadelphia, Mississippi; sister, Karen Wannamaker of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; four brothers, Wesley Wannamaker of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; James Wannamaker of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; Master Sgt. Nathaniel Wannamaker of Pensacola, Florida; Master Sgt. David Wannamaker of Gulfport, Mississippi; aunts, Johnnie Mae Jerrall and Mary Ann Holland; uncles, Welby Pleasant, Sidney Pleasant and Theodore Pleasant, all of Sherman, and Bobby Pleasant of Oxnard, California; brothers-in-law, George Garrett, Bobby Seales and Billy Ray Boyd, all of Philadelphia, Mississippi; and other nieces, nephews, cousins, church members and friends.
