Eighty-eight year old Sherman resident of the Renaissance Apartments passed away on June 15, 2007. His funeral was held at Waldo Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 o'clock in the afternoon on Monday, June 18, with Rev. Joe Ed Furr presiding. Burial was in West Hill Cemetery under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home.
Mr. Miller was born in Collinsville on November 9, 1918, the son of Charles R. Miller and Rosa Swindle Miller. He married Virginia Jackson on June 26, 1943, in Sherman. After her death, he married Glenda Light in Collinsville on June 4, 1983. 
After retiring from Mobil Oil Corp. in 1960 where he held the position of District Superintendent in the Production Department, he established Miller's Auto Parts, Inc. in Sherman. He later purchased and operated cattle ranches in Oklahoma, where he spent most of his retirement time. 
He was preceded in death by his parents; all of his siblings; his first wife, Virginia; and his son, C. Kyle Miller. Surviving are his wife, Glenda of Sherman; daughter, Marilyn Alexander of Achille, Oklahoma; stepchildren, Shannon Cox, Janette Norton, Joanna Reiter, and David Light; 4 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren, and one step-great grandchild. 
He was a member of the Central Christian Church where he served as an elder. He was a 32-degree Mason, member of Hela Temple of Dallas, and a U.S. Air Force Veteran. 
Pallbearers were Clendon Miller, David Light, Richard Norton, Tim Kick, Alex Kick, and Andrew Kick.
