Thursday, July 8, 1926 pg. 1 Funeral services for Sam R. Kincaid, who died at Fort Lyon, Colorado, Saturday were held in Sherman Wednesday afternoon at 5 o'clock from the First Baptist Church, conducted by Dr. T.L. Holcomb, pastor. Burial was in West Hill Cemetery, Sherman. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ray Kincaid; his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. C. Kincaid of Dallas; and the following brothers and sisters, A.B. Kincaid and Mrs. Dema Thomas, Sherman; R.M. Kincaid, Sioux City, Iowa; Howard Kincaid, Floyd Kincaid and Miss Nellie Kincaid, Dallas; and Mrs. Ode Crowell, Whitewright. Pallbearers for the funeral were members of the Sherman American Legion Post.
