MRS. MINNIE SMITH DEAD
Sherman, Nov. 28 - Mrs. Minnie Smith, wife of J.A. Smith, died at the family home, 518 South Maxey street, at 5:10 o'clock Sunday morning, following an extended illness.  Mrs. Smith was 87 years of age at the time of her death, has been a resident of this city for the past forty years, during which time she had made a host of friends who will deeply regret her death.  During her life time Mrs. Smith did valuable charity and church work.
She is survived by her husband; four sons, George Smith, Cecil Smith, Jack Smith and Paul Smith; one daughter, Mrs. Homer Cullers of Oklahoma City; and the following brothers and sisters, George Gryder, Fred Gryder, Mrs. Maud Frazier, Mrs. Rosa Kindricks, and Mrs. C.J. Palmer.
Funeral services will be from the home at 3 o'clock Monday afternoon and burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
