J.N. AMOS DIES FROM EFFECTS OF INJURIES LAST SATURDAY
J.N. Amos was found dead in his bed at his home at 400 E. Evergreen street Friday morning at 7:30 o'clock.  Mr. Amos was a grocery merchant, having a stone in the Frisco addition.
Mr. Amos sustained a double compound fracture of the left lower limb in a runaway accident near his home last Saturday.  He had suffered much pain from the shock, but was thought to be getting along nicely Thursday evening.  A physician said death was directly attributable to his injury.
Mr. Amos is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Amos; by a daughter, Miss Marguerite; and a son , Newton.
Mr. Amos was 45 years of age.  He had been engaged in the restaurant business in Sherman for a number of years.  He was a member of the local camp, Modern Woodmen of America.
