 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas  Asa M. Wright 1857 - 1944 Sherman Democrat February 20, 1944 Asa M. Wright, 85, of Tioga, died suddenly at his home Saturday at 3:30 a.m. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Dannel-Scott chapel with Byron Fullerton, Church of Christ minister, in charge. Burial will be in West Hill cemetery. Mr. Wright was born April 3, 1857 in Shelby county, Alabama, the son of James and Martha Mize Wright and came to Texas in 1880. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors are several nephews and nieces, two of whom are Mrs. Grady Wright of Sherman and Mrs. Jimmie Watts of Plainview.
