 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas  Hugh Kirkpatrick 30 January 1797 (North Carolina) - 2 May 1882  Martha Kirkpatrick Stone 4 May 1820 (Monroe Co., KY) - 22 September 1886 w/o Bennett Stone Sherman Daily Democrat September 23, 1886 DIED Mrs. Martha Stone, departed this life in the 86th year of her life at her residence three miles north of the city yesterday at 11 0'clock. About three weeks ago she was taken with a severe attack of the dengue, which went into typhoid and resulted in her death at the time mentiones. She was a sister of Mrs. Sallie Martin, of this city, and had been a resident of the county for about fifteen years. Her remains were interred in the city cemetery at 10 a.m. She was a lady well beliked by all who knew her, and leaves a very large number of friends to mourn her death.
