Mrs. Cecelia Ryan
Mrs. Cecelia Ryan of 1026 W. Belden, 82-year-old licensed funeral director and former funeral home owner, died Thursday at a Sherman hospital.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in West Hill Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. James W. Garrard of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church.  Arrangements are by Dannel Funeral Home.
Mrs. Ryan was born in Grand Chain, Ill., a daughter of Luther Matthew and Edith Billingsley Roach, attended Mouds, Ill., schools and married James T. Ryan on Nov. 26, 1927, in Mound City, Ill.
A Sherman resident since 1980, Mrs. Ryan spent 41 years in the funeral home business in Mounds and was a member of the Royal Neighbor Lodge and St. Mary's catholic Church.
Surviving are her husband, of Mounds; daughters, Mrs. Terri Hase of Sherman and Mrs. Marsha Watson of Granite City, Ill.; and six grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Wilson N. Jones Hospital Memorial Fund.
