Mary Downing
Sherman - Services for Mary Catherine Downing, 71, who died Sunday at Texoma Medical Center, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Grayson Bible Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Wilburn Vaughn, associate pastor of Grayson Bible Baptist, and the Rev. David Hoile.
Burial will be at West Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home of Denison.
Mrs. Downing was born in Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry W. Miller, and married Frank Downing Sept. 21, 1929, in West Virginia.
Surviving are sons, William S. Downing of Lansing, Ill., and James L. Downing of Advance, N.C.; daughters, Mrs. Martha L. Stout of Sherman and Mrs. Mary J. Downey of Denison; brother, Paul W. Miller of Arleta, Calif.; and 10 grandchildren.
Pallbearers are James Tramell, Ralph Bruton, Richard Mutz, Steve Brown, L.J. Hough and W.C. Morris.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
