Mrs. Hazel Dorchester
Wife of Norman C. Dorchester Dies After Short Illness with Influenza
Mrs. Hazel Dorchester, wife of Norman C. Dorchester, died at Sherman hospital about 1 o'clock Monday morning after an illness of one week's duration with influenza and pneumonia.  Both Mr. and Mrs. Dorchester and the two children, Chester and Genevieve, became ill a week ago with influenza and were taken to the Sherman hospital where every attention was given them.  Mr. Dorchester has partially recovered, but the two children are still in a serious condition.  Mr. Dorchester is agent for the consolidated freight offices of the M. K. & T. and H. & T.C., and a well known railroad man.
Mrs. Dorchester is survived by her husband and two children, Chester and Genevieve, and by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Randell of Denison.  She was also a niece of Col. C.B. Randell of this city.
Funeral services will probably take place from the family home at No. 612 South Walnut St. with Dr. B. Wrenn Webb of Grace Presbyterian Church officiating, although the hour has not been announced.  Mrs. Dorchester was a member of the Baptist Church.
Mrs. Dorchester was a most lovable character, being a young woman of high attainments and had all her life been a Christian, taking an active part in everything that tended to better humanity.
The young husband and children and parents have the deepest sympathy of all in their great loss.

Funeral services for Mrs. Norman C. Dorchester were held from the family residence on South Walnut street at 3 o'clock this afternoon, Dr. B. Wrenn Webb of Grace Presbyterian Church officiating.
All freight offices in the city closed at 2 o'clock, and most of the employees attended the funeral in a body.
There were many beautiful flowers, expressive in a measure of the esteem in which Mrs. Dorchester was held by those who knew her.
Mr. Dorchester was about 32 years of age and was the daughter of Judge and Mrs. R.H. Randell of Denison.  Besides her parents, her husband, who is local freight agent for the H. & T.C., and two children, she is survived by a brother, R.E. Davis of Ravenden, Arkansas, and a sister Mrs. Mable Holdsworth.
