Minden, Louisiana April 1, 1904 pg. 4 Mr. Chas. L. Whitmarsh was called to Texarkana on Sunday by the serious illness of his aged mother who had suffered a slight stroke of paralysis. MRS, WHITMARSH DEAD Mrs. J.E. Whitmarsh died in Texarkana Thursday morning from an attack of paralysis. The deceased was the mother of Mr. C.L. Whitmarsh, of this place. She had resided in Minden for the past few years and had made many friends who will regret to learn of her death. The remains were taken to Sherman, Texas for burial.
