Dennis Jack Reynolds, 81, passed away from this life early Friday, December 4, 2015, at his home.  Graveside services were held Tuesday morning, December 8, 2015 in West Hill Cemetery with family friend Larry Little officiating.
Dennis was born in 1933 in Dallas, Texas, the youngest son of Jack and Verona Reynolds.  He graduated from Sunset High School in Oak Cliff.  He married Avalon Hill in 1952 in Durant, Oklahoma and they made their home in Sherman, Texas.
Dennis became a master plumber at the age of 18 and opened Reynolds Plumbing in Sherman.  Through the years, his career spanned several companies and many large projects throughout Texas and New Mexico.  His true passion was always fishing.  He was a member of the Texoma Bass Club and won many tournaments through the years.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Bill and James.
Dennis is survived by his wife of 63 years; his children: Danny Reynolds and wife, Mary Lou; and Gina Stevens and husband, Chris, all of Sherman; brother, Ray Reynolds of Ft. Worth; the "light of his life" - his 7 grandchildren, Chris Reynolds; Seth Reynolds; Jason Shields, D.J. Shields, Josh Shields, Casey Reynolds and Rikki Shields; and 9 great-grandchildren, Dakota Shields; Sterling Reynolds; Bricelynn Shields; Micah Blunt; Taylor Blunt; Elijah Blunt; Austin Reynolds; Tristan Johnson; and Luke Reynolds; numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
Dennis was a wonderful father, husband, grandfather, and great-grandfather to all of his family.  He was supremely loved and will be sorely missed.
