The Sunday Gazetteer Monday, January 23, 1888 pg. 1 The Gazetteer sincerely regrets that it is called upon to announce the death of Mr. R.H. Rue, which sad event occurred at Sherman last Sunday, after a long and lingering illness. Mr. Rue was one of the old citizens of Denison, having removed to Sherman only four years ago. R.H. Rue was a good man and an enterprising citizen and his demise will be read with feelings of sadness by a host of warm friends here in Denison and throughout North Texas.  The Sunday Gazetteer Sunday, February 12, 1905 pg. 1 CONDENSED HOME NEWS Bige Rue, who was a resident of Denison for a number of years and has relatives here, died at Dallas the early part of the week.
