Fisher died 21 May 1894 The Sunday Gazetteer Sunday, May 27, 1894 pg. 5 LOCAL CONDENSATIONS Sunday, May 20 - Mr. Joe Fisher, eldest son of Hon. D.O. Fisher, this city, died this morning at Tishomingo, Indian Territory. The remains will be interred Tuesday in the family burial ground at Sherman. Mr. Fisher was about 40 years of age. His health, however, has been very poor for six or eight years and his death was not unexpected.
