The Herald Democrat October 3, 2008 Sherman - Frances Reynolds Carter of Sherman died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008 at the Homestead of Sherman at age 88. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Dannel Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Robin McGee of the First Baptist Church. Burial will follow at West Hill Cemetery. Surviving are her sons Harry Reynolds and Dick Reynolds, both of Sherman; and Clyde Reynolds of Gordonville; daughters, Patricia Chitwood and Jean Cox, both of Sherman; brother, Vernon Rankin of Lincoln, Calif.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
