Graveside funeral services for Cecil Earl Haliburton were held Weddnesday morning, February 13 at West Hill Cemetery. Rev. Danny Wood of West Sherman Baptist Church officiated with military honors presented by the members of the VFW.  Mr. Haliburton, 79, passed away Sunday, February 10 at his home in Sherman.
Cecil was born February 9, 1934 in Leonard, Texas, son of Jimmy and Geneva Green Haliburton.  After serving in the US Army in France and Germany, Mr. Haliburton retired from Reed Drill and worked as a farmer in Oklahoma.  He married Patsy Wilson on April 19, 1987 in Las Vegas and they were married until her death in May 2011.  Mr. Haliburton was a longtime member of the VFW.  Cecil always enjoyed a good domino game and will be remembered for his love of life.
He is survived by 3 sons: Kevin Haliburton and wife. Annabelle. of Lewisville; Wayne Hobby of Denison; and Chad Graham and wife, Stephanie, of Denison; 2 daughters, Belinda Worthington and husband, Jeff, of Denison; and Teresa Mullins and husband, Jim, of Denison; brother James Haliburton, Jr. of Sherman; 7 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; daughter, Vicki Haliburton; and 2 brothers, Ray and Mearl Haliburton.
Mr. Haliburton will lie in state for viewing on Tuesday and Wednesday until service time at Waldo Funeral Home.  Memorials may be made to any veteran's organization or cancer research organization of the donor's choice.



Ronny Lynn Haliburton

Ronny Lynn Haliburton, 60, was born December 14, 1959 in Southmayd; he passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on December 16, 2019 after a 12-year battle with cancer.
He is survived by his wife, Tina Haliburton of 23 years; daughter, Annette Haliburton; 2 sons, Bobby Haliburton and Josh Haliburton; step-daughter, Jody Christian and husband, James, all of Southmayd, Texas; step-daughter, Karisa and wife, Christyn Clark, of Hendrix, Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren, Mercedes Ruiz and husband, Eddie, of Denison, Texas; Kenneth Haupert; Caden Bowden; Kyler Van Nortwick; Elizabeth Van Nortwick; Haley Christian; Rhett Haliburton, all of Southmayd, Texas; Nicole Thomas of Sherman, Texas; Kyler Jo and Sierra of Hendrix, Oklahoma; 2 sisters, Mary Bowden and husband, David; and Carol Collum and husband, Roy, of Southmayd, Texas; one aunt, Nelda Haliburton; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.  He also had friends that were like brothers to him: Don Bailey; Miguel Avalos; Ted Moore; Dan Reeves; and others I may have forgotten to mention.
Ronny was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Mildred Haliburton; a brother, Richard Haliburton, who he deeply missed.
He grew up on a farm and worked hard from the time he began school until he passed.  He attended school at S & S.  He became employed at his dad's store, Haliburton Feed & Seed; he hauled water and did backhoeing..  He was well known for his business he started called Haliburton Salvage & Exit 1 (lumber yards).
Ronny enjoyed making money, old cars, westerns & gambling, riding around his pasture looking at his cows.  He enjoyed his family, and the huge family gatherings.  These last 3 months have been the hardest; however, he made sure we all knew how much he love he had for us all.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon, December 20, 2019 at Waldo Funeral Home.  Burial followed at West Hill Cemetery in Sherman, Texas.  Pallbearers were Kenneth Haupert, Kevin Haliburton, Miguel Avalos, Dan Reeves, Eddie Ruiz, and Ted Moore. - - - Waldo Funeral Home


Josh Haliburton, 23, of Sherman, Texas, passed away at his home, Wednesday, September 9, 2020.  He left behind his son, Rhett Waylon Haliburton, of Sherman, Texas; his Mom, who was his best friend, Tina Haliburton of Sherman, Texas; brother, Bobby Haliburton, of Sherman, Texas; sisters, Annette Haliburton, of Southmayd, Texas; Karissa of Oklahoma; 6 nieces and nephews; Kenneth Haupert and Caden Bowden, of Southmayd, Texas; Mercedes and husband, Eddie Ruiz, of Denison, Texas; Nicole Thomas, of Sherman, Texas; Kyler Jo and Sierra of Oklahoma.  He also left behind several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many great friends.
Josh was born May 8, 1997.
He was preceded in death by his Dad, Ronny Haliburton of Sherman, Texas; grandparents, Ray and Neva Haliburton, of Sherman, Texas; and David and Jackie Waymire, of Denison, Texas.
Josh recently found the joy of riding a motorcycle; he said it freed his mind.  He loved riding his golf cart around the farm.  Most of all he loved his son, Rhett, so much he couldn't wait to see him on his visitation days.  Rhett always lights up when he sees his Daddy come in the door.
Josh will be deeply missed by all of us because he was an amazing father, friend and son with the biggest, kindest heart.  He has been the best uncle and brother in the world.  Our world will be forever incomplete with him not here, but he is with his daddy in Heaven watching over all of us.
Funeral service was Monday morning, September 14, 2020 at the Haliburton Family Farm, Sherman, Texas.  Rev. Brian Taylor officiated and pallbearers were Kenneth Haupert, Cody Day, Chris Bentley, Luke Dutton, Hayden Linsteadt, and Christ Welsh.  Burial followed at West Hill Cemetery.
