 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas  Gertie Rucker McNeil 1877 - 1955 The Dallas Morning News July 7, 1943 Section I, pg. 11 RUCKER RITES SET IN SHERMAN TODAY Funeral services for J.W. Rucker, 68, of 7030 Casa Loma, resident of Dallas for the last 35 years, who died at a local hospital Sunday night, will be held Tuesday afternoon in Sherman, his former home. Burial will be there. A native of Independence, Missouri, Mr. Rucker had been a resident of Texas 61 years. He had been an employe of the Railway Express Agency for many years, having worked for the organization in several other Texas cities before coming to Dallas. He is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Jack Fechenbach of Dallas; and Mrs. Lucille Schafer of Sherman; 2 sisters, Mrs. John Myers of El Paso and Mrs. C.C. Andrews of Celina.
