DAVENPORT DEAD Passes Away at Fort Worth After Long Illness Yesterday at Fort Worth after an illness of nine weeks, Thos. Davenport, aged 33 years, died. His body was brought to Sherman at noon todayon the Frisco and taken to the home of Monroe B. Jackson, 1103 East Williams street. The deceased spent most of his life in Sherman and has a great many friends and acquaintances here. When a lad he was a carrier boy on the Democrat and then and ever afterward he was honest, trustworthy and reliable. His wife was Miss Lillian Knoll of East Sherman and to them have been born three children, two sons and one daughter. The W.O.W. will conduct the funeral. The deceased was also a member of Odd Fellows and Eagles. The funeral services are in progress at this hour. The burial will be under the direction of Sherman Undertaking company.
