Sam Lazarus Burial Held in Sherman

Sherman, Texas, June 25 - The body of Sam Lazarus, who died March 5, last, was brought to Sherman Friday afternoon on a speical Frisco train from St. Louis and the casket containing his body placed in the mausoleum in West Hill Cemetery.
The body was accompanied by C.B. Dorchester, president of the Merchants and Planters National Bank of this city, and Leo Jacobs and Charles Sommers of St. Louis.
Mr. Lazarus, who was president of the Quanah, Acme & Pacific Railway and a stockholder in the Frisco, lived in Sherman for many years and had expressed a desire to be brought here for burial.
Mrs. Lazarus came to Sherman last week and completed the funeral arrangements.

DIED
Enid, little daughter of Mr. and Mr. Sam Lazarus, died at the family residence, on South Travis street, today, after a long illness.  The little one came as a sunbeam to cheer the household, but it has been garnered into the hosts of angelic innocents, gems of Heaven. 
The funeral will take
plae from the family residence tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock.
