 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas  Claudia Danielle Brooks 26 June 1958 - 1 August 2006 Herald Democrat August 3, 1906 pg.A12 CLAUDIA DANIELLE BROOKS Sherman - Funeral services for Claudia Danielle Brooks, 48, of Sherman will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 4, 2006 in the Waldo Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dan Turner officiating. Burial will follow at West Hill Cemetery in Sherman. She was born on Thursday, June 26, 1958, in Gladewater, Texas, the daughter of Luther Ray "Jack" Brooks and Aleta Joyce (Phillips) Brooks. Claudia graduated from Gladewater High School and then attended and graduated from Longview School of Vocational Nursing in 1979. She had been working at Hilltop Haven in Gunter for the past 18 years. Claudia was a member of the Grace Chapel Church. She loved playing on the computer, playing bingo, going to the movies and was also an Avon representative. Claudia was a very generous and giving person. She is survived by her parents Luther "Jack" Ray Brooks and Aleta Joyce (Phillips) Brooks of Gilmer, Texas; brother, Keith Ray Brooks and wife, Lisa of Gladewater, Texas; nephews, Mark Ray Brooks and Garion Ray Brooks, both of Gladewater; niece, Leah Michelle Brooks of Gladewater, Texas. She is also survived by her close friends, Roy and Vida McPherson of Southmayd, Texas. Claudia was preceded in death by her grandparents. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, August 3, 2006. Pallbearers will be Jerry Strauser, Mark Chappell, Johnney McPherson, David McPherson, David Paul McPherson and Timothy Booe.
