Monta Sue Terrell
18 December 1945 - 30 April 1996
Sue Terrell, a divine and spiritual being who touched the lives of every person she met, passed from this world on April 30, 1996.
The world will miss her for the love and compassion she shared with everyone who ever knew her. She just made you feel good knowing her. She gave so much more to all who knew her and never asked for anything in return--with the exception of healing for the ovarian cancer that took her life.
A nurse with Wilson N. Jones hospital for 10 years, she was the last of the diploma nurses, recieving her degree from Methodist Hospital in Dallas. She used this education all over the world and while in Thailand she adopted her daughter, Natalie.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the chapel at Waldo Funeral Home. Officiating will be the Rev. Irby McKnight, pastor of Harvest Time Assembly of God. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
Sue was born on December 18, 1945 in Sherman, the daughter of C. L. and Lillie DeBerry Hodges.
Sue is survived by H. R. Terrell, her husband of nine years, who had a life-changing relationship that was full of love, prosperity and abundance. Her spirit and loving values carry on in him. Love, Love, and more Love. Also surviving are her mother, Lillie Hodges; sisters, Jean Martello and Pat Smith; brother, Joe Hodges; granddaughter, Kaylan Burrow, and many nieces and nephews.
