TEXAS NEWS
We learn from the Patriot that on the 15th inst., the registered vote of Grayson County reached 3,674.
The same paper says that on the 17th, Dr. J.N. Fenet, one of the proprietors of the livery stable on the south side of the public square at the place, while in one of the stalls of the stable, was kicked to death by one of the horses before assistance could reach him.

TEXAS NEWS AND COMMENTS
The McKinney Enquirer says that Mr. John Fenet of Sherman was killed on the seventeenth inst. by a kick from his horse.
