Wednesday, September 6, 1922 gp. 4 MRS. ADELE MOOTY DIED IN SHERMAN WEDNESDAY Mrs. Adele Mooty, 66 years of age, died at 223 North Cleveland avenue Wednesday morning at 6:05 o'clock. Death occurred at the home of her son, W.C. Mooty. Mrs. Mooty had resided in Sherman since last fall. She had for 23 years been a widow, her husband dying in Red River County. For 45 years she had been a member of the Methodist church. Besides her son here, she is survived by the following children: S.B. Mooty of Lapan, Texas; Mrs. Minnnie Hale of Winters, Texas; Mrs. T.M. Barton of Myrna, Texas; Mrs. A.D. Bagwell of Bradshaw, Texas; Sam and J.T. Mooty of Tishomingo, Oklahoma. A sister, Mrs. Jennie Ray of Masbern, Texas, also survives. Funeral services were held from the late home Thursday morning, followed by burial in West Hill Cemetery.
