 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas  Nov 28, 2012 Sherman, Texas - Services for Elmer L. Owens, 73 of Sherman were held Saturday morning, December 1, 2012 at the Fellowship Baptist Church in Sherman with Rev. Gahlen Warren and Rev. Ricky Sommers Sr. officiating. Burial followed at West Hill Cemetery in Sherman. Elmer passed away Friday, November 23, 2012 at Texas Health Presbyterian-WNJ. Mr. Owens is survived by his wife; Linda Owens of Sherman; daughters; Cheryl Reeves of Sherman; Delnora Ransom of Sherman; LeVida Douglas of Sherman; Annettee Orr of Pilot Point; Anita Orr of Sherman; Pennye Adams of Cedar Hill; Sarah Ransom of Garland; Ronnet Peters of Arlington; LaShannon Peters of Sherman; sons, Brandon Srader of Kansas City, Missouri; Shannon Peters of Elreno, Oklahoma; Ronnie Peters of Sherman; Henry Peters of Sherman' brothers, Phillip Owens of Seatle, Washington; Richard Owens of Bridgepor; sisters, Ruby Gentry of Sherman; Lizzie Coney of Denison; and Willie Coleman of Sherman; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
