DENISON - Ronald Wayne Brown, 66, entered into eternal life Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010 at Texoma Medical Center.
Mr. Brown was born April 16, 1944 in Wellington, the son of Loyd and Ruby (Patterson) Brown. Ronald married the love of his life, Della Hinkle March 12, 1965 in Amarillo. He served his country proudly in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. Ronald was a member of the Masonic Lone Star Lodge 403. He was also a member of Unity Missionary Baptist Church. Where he served as deacon, Sunday school teacher, treasurer, music director and other duties. Ronald dearly loved the Lord, church, family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Mr. Brown was survived by his loving family, wife, Della Brown, children, Brian Brown, Melissa Nixon, and Justin Kirk Brown; nine grandchildren, brother, Johnny Lee Brown, sister, Jackie Lynn Boddye, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010 at Unity Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Jim Branscum, Brother Kevin Clinton and Brother Harry Shomaker officiating. Interment will follow at West Hill Cemetery in Sherman. Family visitation will be held from 6 -8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 29, 2010 at Fisher Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to Unity Missionary Baptist Church, 1900 Woodlawn Blvd., Denison, TX 75020.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home, located at 604 W. Main in Denison.
