WWII  Graveside services for James Otis Boothe, age 69, of Sherman, TX will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, October 24, 2011 at the West Hill Cemetery in Sherman, TX. Mike Marsters of the Whitewright Church of Christ will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman. Mr. Boothe passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at his residence in Sherman. He was born on December 6, 1941 the son of Floyd Adrian Boothe and Christine Anderson Boothe. James married Emily Shannon Stevenson on August 5, 1966. He worked as a Design Technician at Texas Instruments for over 25 years. James is survived by his wife Shannon of Sherman, TX, daughter, Adrianne Manton of Sherman, TX, daughter, Emily Webb and husband Boe of Denison, TX; son, Joshua Boothe of Euless, TX; four grandchildren, Kathleen Manton of Howe, TX, Shelby Manton of Sherman, TX, Jack Webb of Denison, TX and Addison Webb of Denison, TX. He is also survived by one great-grandson, Bear Stewart; and his sister, Letha Baze and husband Ronald of Whitewright, TX. James was preceded in death by his parents.
