Thursday November 28, 1972 Page 11 DENISON - Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Calvary Baptist Church for Sam W. Young, 67, who died Tuesday morning in his home at 1231 E. Texas. Rev. Earnest Potter will officiate. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery, Sherman, under the direction of the Bratcher Funeral Home. Mr. Young was born in Howe, the son of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Young. He married Rachel Savage on September 27, 1927 in Sherman. Survivors include his widow of Denison; three sons, Sam Jr. and Richard Young of Denison, George F. Young of Pecos; one daughter, Mrs. Raymond McCarthy of Denison; one brother, Hollis Young of Henrietta; and 10 grandchildren. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
