 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas Sherman Democrat July 20, 1969 Mrs. Sallie Blanton Graveside services were held Saturday in West Hill Cemetery for Mrs. Sallie Blanton, 71, widow of the late Cecil Blanton. She died Wednesday night in Wichita Falls. The Rev. Lloyd Ledbetter of the Central Baptist Church conducted the services and the burial was under the direction of Dannel and Son Funeral Home. Born March 9, 1898, Mrs. Blanton had lived the past several years in Wichita Falls. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, B.C. Blanton of Los Angeles,Calif.; sister, Mrs. Leta Boggs of Midland; and five grandchildren. (Researcher's Note : Sallie Lake Corder married Cecil W. Blanton , son of William B. "W.B."
